- Bloomsburg State Teachers
College in 1959. This is a pictorial look at the campus of 50 years
ago, complete with historical and current information on all campus areas
that existed at that time.
- A Gallery of Presidents
and History of Bloomsburg University. The exhibit provides biographical
information on all of the individuals who have headed what is now Bloomsburg
University since 1866. It also presents in-depth historical information
on the growth the school has experienced since that time in terms of the
number of students, programs, courses, and the physical size of the campus,
all showing the remarkable progress from our days as a normal school to
a teachers college and finally a full university.
- Views of the Bloomsburg
State Normal School, 1921-1923. This exhibit takes photographic images
from the course catalogues for these two academic years to give a view of what
the campus looked like in the early 1920s during its days as a state normal school.
It also includes historical information on the campus, buildings, classes, and
students.
- 1919 War Hero Memorial Pinery.
The exhibit examines the history of the World War I memorial located near
Carver Hall, and provides biographical information on the 16 students who
are remembered there.
- The Maine Experience: Bloomsburg State
College Summer Art Classes at Moosehead Lake, 1975-79. This
exhibit remembers the summers during the 1970s that art students from
Bloomsburg went to the wilds of Maine to paint, draw, learn their craft and
experience life.
- A Legacy of Champions: The Story of
Wrestling at Bloomsburg University. The exhibit documents the
history of the wrestling program at the University from its founding in 1930
to the present day, featuring many of our individual and team champions from
over the years.
- The Navy V-5s at the Bloomsburg
State Teachers College. An exhibit telling the story of the naval flight instructors who
trained in Bloomsburg during World War II. The site also includes primary
documents from the BSTC naval training programs collection.
