Waller Hall on the Outside

The earliest known photograph of the fabled Long Porch of Waller Hall, c. 1895.
The wing seen at left and the section behind the porch is from the original building constructed in 1875 and 1876.  The right wing and wooden porch were built in 1891 when the building was expanded, although the porch was replaced in the fall of 1949 with a far more substantial brick one.

The $750 fountain replaced a flower bed and was a gift of the Class of 1949.
