The End of Waller Hall - Part I

All color photographs taken in January, 1975 by retired Art Professor Ken Wilson.

The rear of Waller Hall, looking from between Luzerne Hall and the Union, 1973.

The rear of Waller Hall two years later, as the wrecking crane goes to work on the century-old building.

The crane has broken through the west side of Waller Hall to reveal the Scranton Commons.

The silver dome of Carver Hall is seen through the wreckage of Waller.

The rounded arches of the Waller Hall Lobby.  Note that the wood paneling has been removed from the lower part of the walls.

This view was taken from near the Lobby area looking north to the Union.

A photograph from the Campus Voice shows the demolition of the 1894 Waller Hall annex.
