Course Reserve Tutorial


This tutorial will enable you to locate Course Reserve materials through PILOT, the Library's online catalog.

The tutorial has an audio feature, so you may wish to enable your speakers or headsets to listen to the narration.

You may also wish to consult the numbered list of steps below.

  1. Go to the Andruss Library home page http://library.bloomu.edu
  2. Click on the Catalog (PILOT) link in the left column
  3. Click on the Course Reserve link
  4. Select your professor's name from the dropdown menu of professors' names (listed in alphabetical order)
  5. Click Search
  6. Select the Course Reserve item you need by clicking on its title
  7. If the item is on Course Reserve at the Circulation Desk (1st floor), make note of the item's call number, go to the Circulation Desk with your Bloomsburg University ID card, and check out the item for 2 hours.
  8. If the item is an electronic document , click on the link to the document. If you are accessing PILOT off-campus, you will be asked to supply your 14-digit LIB# from your Bloomsburg University ID card.
