(The pergola was built in the campus grove as a memorial of the Class of 1916.  A number of performances and May Day ceremonies were held there, and it is still located just to the north of Science Hall.)

A Nature Study Trip

(A class trip, usually under the direction of Daniel Hartline, to collect specimens for biology instruction.)

Dedication of Memorial Boulder, May 30, 1922

(The dedication ceremony for the boulder in the World War I Memorial Pinery.  It holds the bronze plaque identifying the students who died in the First World War and the corresponding trees to honor their memory.  It still stands behind Schuylkill Hall.)
